In any country, carbon emissions increase due to the burning of crude oil, coal, fossil fuels. This carbon emission is seen in the form of carbon-di-oxide and green house gases which is responsible for global warming. The amount of carbon that a person or organization emits is called carbon footprint. When their emissions in a country become less than zero, then that country is called a carbon negative country.
Bhutan, Panama and Suriname made such a record
1- Bhutan: History created on the basis of strict laws
The biggest reason for Bhutan to be able to do this is because of its strict rules regarding forests and forests. Less than 4 million tonnes of carbon is emitted here every year, the forest here is able to absorb it. The constitution here is strict regarding forests, in which it is clearly written that it is mandatory to have at least 60 percent forests in the country. At present, up to 72 percent of the forests are present in Bhutan. Here most of the hydropower is used to generate electricity. That is, electricity is being made from the water present in the rivers and lakes here. That is why they have also been successful in stopping the emission of carbon. The economy of Bhutan is dependent on tourism. There is a ban on the export of timber and there are no industries here. This is the reason why Bhutan was able to join the carbon negative country.

The economy here has a role not of industry, but of agriculture, gold, bauxite and petrochemicals, which are found in abundance here. There is awareness about the protection of forests in this country. This is the biggest reason for being included in the list of carbon negative countries. The army, the government and the public all work together for its security.
