‘Ganga-Vilas’ is the first river cruise made in the country. In its first trip, 32 Swiss citizens have been included. In the journey of 4 thousand kilometers, tourists will pass through Kaziranga National Park and Sunderbans Delta while visiting Varanasi’s Ganga Aarti. This cruise will travel about 1,100 km in Bangladesh. It is equipped with many hi-tech facilities. Many arrangements have been made to make this journey not boring for the passengers. According to Raj Singh, owner of Ganga Vilas, musical and dance programs will be organized on the cruise during the journey. There will be many types of cultural programs. Apart from this, arrangement for study room and modern library has also been made in it. An open space balcony has been made so that tourists can enjoy the natural beauty. Raj Singh says, in the journey from Varanasi to Dibrugarh, passengers will be exposed to ODOP and GI tagged products of Uttar Pradesh. The cruise will have 18 suites. Apart from this, the cruise will be decorated with many types of Indian products including wooden toys, wall hangings of Ghazipur.
