The hard work of the Government of India to link Aadhaar with mobile number has finally paid off. In the month of February, more than 1 crore mobile numbers have been linked with Aadhaar. UIDAI itself has given this information by issuing a statement on Friday. UIDAI said that last month more than 1 crore mobile numbers have been linked to Aadhaar. In January this number was 56.7 lakh. Means almost double the number of people have linked their mobile number this month since January.
Government of India was requesting people for a long time to link their Aadhaar with mobile number. After which such a large number of people have got their Aadhaar linked. There has been a 93 percent increase in linking mobile numbers with Aadhaar in February.

Transaction through Aadhaar also increased
According to UIDAI, this great boom is a good sign to keep your mobile number updated for continuous promotion, convenience and availing various services. Along with this, transactions through Aadhaar have also increased in India. In the month of February alone, transactions worth 226.29 crores have been done through Aadhaar. 13 percent more than in January. Its number in January was 199.62 crores.

Link Aadhaar-mobile number like this sitting at home
- First of all you have to visit the website of Indian Postal Service.
- After this enter all the necessary details like your name, address, mobile number, email. Now select PPB-Aadhaar service in the drop-down menu.
- After this click on UIDAI-Mobile/Email to Aadhaar linking/update and then enter your details again.
- After this OTP will come on your number. After entering the OTP, click on Confirm Service Request.
- Your mobile number will be linked to Aadhaar in just a few minutes.
