Why were trains cancelled?
According to the official website, Indian Railways has decided not to run so many trains due to ongoing repairs and other reasons in different zones of the railway across the country. Due to the cancellation of so many trains, a large number of passengers across the country are facing problems.
Earlier on Thursday, Indian Railways canceled 140 trains including mail, express, super-fast. The timing of Duronto was also changed. Many trains have also been canceled due to heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh last week. At the same time, work was going on inside some yards, water entered there, due to which the trains have been cancelled. Along with this, doubling work is also going on in some part of the track. Due to this the train there has been cancelled.
