EPFO : To secure the future of the employees, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) operates the pension scheme. EPFO has earned Rs 19 lakh by selling junk under the cleanliness drive. EPFO has removed more than 95 thousand files that have lost their purpose during this period. After this, now EPFO has decided to help the disabled / paralyzed pensioners with this income. With the aim of helping the differently-abled, EPFO has started a new initiative during a special campaign for the handicapped/paralyzed pensioners.

The Regional Office, Jodhpur and Regional Office Gorakhpur took the initiative to provide wheelchair facilities to the elderly and differently-abled. The Regional Office, Rajkot has started an initiative called “Jeevan Pramaan Rath” for the convenience of old age/specially handicapped pensioners in their homes for their Jeevan Pramaan (Digital Life Certificate).
Explain that the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization has reviewed more than 5 lakh files (505501) more than a set target of 414470 files. Out of this, more than 95788 files which have lost their purpose have been removed. In about 2806 e-files, more than 2794 certified e-files reported for speedy disposal of regular cases. At the same time, EPFO has resolved about 2390 public grievances out of the target of 2408 complaints.
Earn 19 lakhs from useless stuff
EPFO had identified 16 mission sites in different categories of urban, semi-urban and remote areas, which have gone under major changes in their physical infrastructure and working environment. Simultaneously, EPFO carried out campaigns in 945 sites against the target of 726 sites and earned about Rs 19 lakh from scrap and other unusable material disposal. Which will be used by EPFO for the disabled.
