Change in the rule of electricity subsidy in Delhi
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a big announcement on Wednesday. This announcement is about electricity subsidy. He issued a number through which one can apply for electricity subsidy in Delhi. This number is 70113111111. At present, the rule of free electricity is applicable in Delhi, in which those who consume less than 200 units of electricity do not have to pay any bill. Those who consume electricity up to 400 units, they get a discount of 59 percent or say up to Rs 800 on the electricity bill. Now some changes will be seen in it.
1-How to get subsidy
There are total 58 lakh consumers in Delhi, 47 lakh get subsidy, 30 lakh bill comes to zero, 16/17 lakh half bill comes. The Delhi government has made it mandatory for the people to apply to take advantage of the subsidy. The Chief Minister also said that those who want to take subsidy on electricity, they will have to apply before 30 September.

4-What will happen for offline bill
For offline bill, the customer will get a letter or consent form along with the electricity bill for the next two cycles. This form has to be filled by the customer. In this, you have to enter your mobile number, give voter ID and sign. In this form, the consumer’s name, CA number and address will be updated automatically.
This form has to be taken to the nearest billing center. There you will see a separate subsidy counter. Submit your form here. This form will be required to be filled before the next billing cycle.
