Mother Dairy cuts edible oil by up to Rs 15

Let us inform that Mother Dairy sells its edible oils under the brand Dhara Edible Oils. Mother Dairy has reduced the price of one liter Dhara Mustard Oil (Poly Pack) from Rs 208 to Rs 193 per litre.
One liter sunflower oil reduced from Rs 235 to Rs 220
Apart from mustard oil, one liter of Dhara Refined Sunflower Oil (Poly Pack) will now be sold for Rs 220, earlier it was priced at Rs 235 per litre. At the same time, the price of one liter of Dhara Refined Soyabean Oil (Poly Pack) has now been reduced to Rs 194, from Rs 209 earlier.
Mother Dairy’s Dhara oil will reach the markets by next week with the new MRP
Mother Dairy said in a statement, the maximum retail prices (MRP) of Dhara edible oils are being cut by up to Rs 15 per litre. This reduction in prices is due to recent government initiatives, reduced influence of international markets and increased availability of sunflower oil. With the new MRP, Dhara edible oil will reach the markets by next week.
India imports 13 million tonnes of edible oils every year
Edible oil prices have remained very high since last one year due to higher rates in the international market. India imports around 13 million tonnes of edible oils annually to meet the domestic demand. The country’s import dependence for edible oils is 60 percent.
According to a PTI report, Mother Dairy had a total of 1800 consumer touch points in Delhi-NCR as of October 14, 2021. According to the company’s plan, their number is to be increased to 2500 by the financial year 2022-23. Mother Dairy is trying to reach as many people as possible.
