Now it used to take about six and a half to seven hours to cover the distance from Delhi to Gwalior. After the construction of Green Expressway, the journey will become even easier, the capital Delhi will not remain far away. You will reach Gwalior from Delhi in just 4 hours. Which has been announced by Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in Orchha of Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh.

4 lane expressway will cost 200 crores
For this expressway, repair work of 95 kilometer long Agra-Gwalior forelane will also be done by spending 200 crores. 18 km four lane bypass will be constructed from Bangoy Khas to Orchha Tigela with 520 crores. This work will start this year itself. After this connectivity to Jhansi, Lalitpur, Chhatarpur, Sagar and Khajuraho of UP will become even easier.
High level meeting will be held between Nitin Gadkari and Shivraj Singh
According to the information received from the Ministry of Transport, the DPR is almost ready for the construction of Green Expressway. Very soon a high level meeting is going to take place between Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh regarding this.
