Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Mission has launched Prajjwala Challenge Scheme with the aim of inviting ideas, solutions and actions that can transform the rural economy. It is one of the platforms where ideas have been sought from individuals, social enterprises, startups, private sector, civil society, community based organizations, educational institutions and investors who have the potential to transform the rural economy.
Ministry of Rural Development is looking for ideas and solutions regarding innovative technology solutions, inclusive growth, increased women entrepreneurship, cost effective solutions, employment and local models etc. The application process for this has been started from 29 December 2022, which will continue till 31 January 2023.
Winners will get 2-2 lakh rupees
The ideas of the applicants will be shortlisted and the shortlisted ideas will be provided mentorship support from an expert panel and incubation support to scale up.
