Auto Expo 2023 New Launch: This year, the maximum focus at the Auto Expo is on electric vehicles. From cars to scooters and bikes then everything has become electric. In this episode Godavari, a Raipur based company has launched electric auto rickshaw eblu Rozee. The special thing about this auto is that it has the same level of security as a Volvo bus, while the cost of running it comes to just 50 paise per km.
Hyder Ali, CEO of Godavari Electric Motors told in a special conversation with NewsNCR that the body of this electric auto is made of corrosion resistant DCPD Panel. This material is generally used to make cabins of luxury buses like Volvo, which is better in terms of safety. The company claims that it is the first company in the country to make body from this material in the autorickshaw segment.
Travel at 50 paise per km
This auto rickshaw comes with a 200 Ah Lithium Ion battery. It takes 6 to 7 hours to fully charge this battery and the power consumption is 6 units. In a single charge, this auto rickshaw covers a distance of 167 km standard while on road it covers a distance of 130 km. CEO Hyder Ali says that in this way the cost of running this auto rickshaw is around 50 paise per km. However, due to the higher rate per unit of electricity, there may be a slight increase in it.
Amazing features in auto rickshaw
This auto rickshaw has a regenerative braking system, which recharges the battery when brakes are applied. While its roof is also made of DCPD panels, that means its roof is better than tarpaulin autos. Whereas the structure of its entire body is built on a steel frame. Also, there are dual head lamps, hydraulic brakes, aerodynamic design with the convenience of halogen lamps.
This rickshaw does not turn, this is the price
Independent suspension system has been given on both the rear wheels of this autorickshaw. Due to this, where the auto ride is better in potholes etc., the chances of auto rickshaw overturning are also reduced. The company has kept its price at Rs 3.39 lakh. This includes fame subsidy.
