In the RBI booklet, bank customers were also told never to share OTP and CVV information with anyone during financial transactions. In this booklet, prepared on the basis of analysis of fraud complaints, RBI said that knowingly or unknowingly giving personal information during transactions can easily make you vulnerable to financial fraud. Therefore, do not give this information of yours to any unknown person.

To avoid any kind of cybercrime, do not share the CVV of the bank card or the OTP issued at the time of digital transaction to anyone, even with family members or friends.
