Banks have a holiday on 1st April

Banks will remain open on Sundays as well
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued an order to all the banks to open all the banks till 31st March. This means that banks will work as usual on Sundays as well. The financial year 2022-23 is ending on March 31, in such a situation, all the transactions related to the government have to be completed by this date.
Banks will remain closed for 15 days in April
Including April 1, out of 30 days, the bank will remain in the bank for a total of 15 days. This includes Saturdays, Sundays and other holidays of the month. People will not be able to get their work done in banks on the day of bank closure. However, they will be able to continue transacting through internet banking.
