Yoga Day celebrated at AIIMS
International Yoga Day 2023: AIIMS in New Delhi on Wednesday international yoga day Celebrated. In the yoga program, more than 2800 people performed yoga together in AIIMS. It included the faculty, doctors, medical staff and students of the hospital. The yoga program also saw a recorded speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which he spoke about the importance of yoga in making the society healthy.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya was the chief guest in this program. He inaugurated Go Green Cycling, Yoga Center. The Health Minister said that the body can be kept fit through yoga. Everyone must include yoga in their lifestyle. People will remain healthy through yoga and many types of dangerous diseases will also be prevented. Yoga can prevent diseases, enhance mental health and strengthen the immune system.
Millet Canteen inaugurated
To promote healthy and nutritious food, the Health Minister inaugurated the Millet Canteen. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for the Global Millets (Shri Anna) conference, the canteen aims to provide healthy food to the people. AIIMS is an integrated medical and research center. Where many researches are done on yoga. To promote yoga, a center for yoga therapy was also started in MCH block. Patients will get a lot of benefit in Yoga Therapy Center and through Yoga it will help in curing many diseases.
Yoga can cure many diseases
Many researches have been done in AIIMS in the past. In which it has been told that through yoga, diseases caused by PCOS, infertility and DNA defects can be controlled. Daily yoga practice strengthens the body’s immunity. With this, the problem of fertility in men and diseases caused by lifestyle defects can also be prevented.
