1. Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

An infected urinary system consisting of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra is called a urinary tract infection. This occurs when bacteria such as microbes take over the defenses of the urinary tract, causing symptoms including frequent urges to urinate, pain when urinating, burning, abdominal pain and more. Infection of the urinary tract can affect both men and women and can cause almost the same symptoms.

2. Diabetes

Frequent urination can also be caused by type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Uncontrolled diabetes means high blood sugar levels in the body, due to which more fluid is released from the kidneys in the form of urine. This can lead to increased thirst and hunger, weight loss, fatigue, vision problems, mood changes and more.

3. Thyroid

Hyperthyroidism refers to a condition in which the thyroid gland is overactive and produces more hormones than normal. It can affect kidney functions, causing frequent urination. Other symptoms include weight loss, irregular heart rhythm, insomnia, hair loss and frequent bowel movements.

4. Prostate Problems

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men. The prostate, which is a small gland in the male reproductive system, produces a liquid that enriches the sperm. An enlarged prostate can lead to several complications, ranging from frequent urination, pain or burning during urination or ejaculation to difficulty in stopping or initiating urination.

A stroke can often damage the nerves that control bladder functions. Given that the nerves cannot send proper signals to the bladder, it can cause frequent urination, inability to hold urine, ie urinary incontinence, sudden urge to urinate or inability to urinate.

Bladder and kidney stones are hard, solid clusters that form inside organs. It can irritate the bladder and when it increases in size, it can cause severe pain. However, kidney stones are not the same as bladder stones.

They develop differently. But small kidney stones can travel down the ureters into the bladder and, when left untreated, can develop into bladder stones, causing frequent urination and other painful sensations along with abdominal pain and discomfort. .

7. Anxiety

When a person feels nervous and is surrounded by a sense of apprehension and fear, he deals with anxiety. According to researchers, this can sometimes lead to an overactive bladder. Anxiety causes muscle tension, which is believed to affect the bladder muscles, leading to the urge to urinate.
