Maharashtra sets record for highest number of vaccinations in a day
Maharashtra has created an unprecedented record on the eve of Independence Day. By 7 pm on Saturday, 9 lakh 36 thousand people were vaccinated. This is the highest figure so far for such a large number of vaccinations in a day. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Health Minister Rajesh Tope, Health Minister of Maharashtra congratulated the health department of the state for this work.

Vaccination started on 16 January

After this, from April 1, all people above 45 years of age started getting the vaccine. From May 1, the government started vaccinating all people above 18 years of age.
