Amidst the continuously decreasing cases of Coronavirus in the country, now the cases of infection have started decreasing in Kerala too. After a long time, the outbreak of Corona seems to be decreasing here. Experts believe that due to rapid vaccination in the state and a large part of the population getting infected, the situation from Corona in Kerala seems to be under control. In the coming days also, the cases of virus are expected to decrease here. However, in view of the upcoming festivals, one has to be cautious.
Antibodies have been made in people
On the current situation of Corona in Kerala, senior doctor of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Amarindra Singh Malhi says that during the second wave, there was a strict lockdown in Kerala. Then the cases of corona did not increase there. As soon as the government relaxed the lockdown, the cases started increasing and a large part of the population got infected. Due to this, antibodies were made against the virus in people. Apart from this, about 71 percent of the eligible people in the state have received the first dose of corona vaccine. Corona cases are decreasing due to these two reasons. With the decreasing number of cases, the death toll is also decreasing. The death rate from corona in Kerala is less than one percent. Which is much better than many states.
Have to be cautious on festivals
Dr Vikas Kumar of the Department of Medicine, GTB Hospital, Delhi, says that even though there may be a decrease in the cases of the virus in Kerala, it cannot be said that the corona has come under control. If people are careless in the coming festivals and do not follow the rules of prevention from COVID, then cases can increase again. Therefore, for a long time, you have to be cautious.
