Danger of third wave due to carelessness (symbolic image)
The situation is under control after the second wave of corona in the country. Active cases of infection are decreasing for several days. However, in view of the festivals, experts have advised to be cautious. Experts say that there are many festivals in the coming days. In such a situation, it is very important for people to follow the corona protocol. If carelessness is taken, then the possibility of third wave of corona coming will increase.
Be careful during festivals
Dr Yudhveer Singh, of the Critical Care Department at AIIMS, says that after the rapid vaccination for the last few months and no new variant of corona has been exposed, the situation is currently under control. There may be danger in the season. If people do not follow the rules of prevention from corona during the festivals, then there is a possibility of a third wave. Therefore, attention has to be paid to prevent infection. People have to understand that corona is under control in the country, but this virus is not over. There are also many countries where even after vaccination of more than half the population, the virus is spreading again. That’s why people should not take Corona lightly and celebrate the festival with caution.
Will depend on new variant
Dr Jugal Kishore, chairman of the Medicine Department of Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital, said that unless a new variant of corona comes in the country, the third wave will not come. However, in some areas or states, there will be ups and downs in the cases of corona. This will happen in such areas where the spread of the virus was reduced earlier. Along with this, people will also have to be alert during festivals. Because people move from one state to another during festivals. If during this time the rules of prevention from corona are not followed, then the possibility of a third wave may increase.
Care has to be taken while going to the markets
Dr. Meenal Choudhary of Akash Hospital says that people have to be careful while going to the markets during festivals. Because there is a lot of crowd in the markets during festivals. There, only one person can infect many people. That is why it is important that whenever you go to the market, wear a mask and also follow the distance of two yards.
