On January 12, 1,05,102 tests were conducted in Delhi and 27,561 cases were reported. During this the infection rate was 26.22 percent. That is, the infection rate is increasing with every new day. The figures are also showing that at present, only after reducing the test, there is a decrease in the number of infected people. The only relief is that hospitalization is not increasing in comparison to the infected in Delhi. In the last 14 days, even after receiving about 2 lakh cases, only 1700 patients have been admitted to the hospital. Also, there is no increase in the death rate.

Things are much better this time

COVID expert Dr. Jugal Kishore says that this time in Delhi the situation is much better than the previous wave. We are seeing that only patients suffering from chronic diseases are in need of hospitalization. There are only a few patients who have respiratory problems, whereas in the last wave, 25 to 30 percent of the infected needed to be hospitalized. Dr. Kishor says that a large population of Delhi has been infected with the Omicron variant. Because of this, the cases are increasing rapidly. Looking at the current graph of Corona in Delhi, it can be said that the peak of Corona will come here in the next few days. However, it remains to be seen how long the positivity rate will be reduced. Because if the cases are reduced by reducing the test, then it cannot be said that the peak has come.
