Dengue patients are increasing rapidly in the country’s capital Delhi. In the last one week only 139 cases have been reported. Due to the increasing number of patients, beds in many hospitals have become full. Experts estimate that a new strain of dengue has arrived in Delhi. Due to this the cases are increasing so fast. Doctors advise that people have to be very careful at this time. If you have fever or cough, get a blood test done immediately.
Dr Yudhveer Singh of the Critical Care Department of AIIMS says that the cases of dengue are increasing rapidly because the immunity of people has decreased after corona. Due to this, they are easily falling prey to dengue. It may also be that a new strain of dengue has arrived in Delhi, which is making people more sick, although the new strain is still a matter of investigation. Dr Yudhveer said that the increasing cases of dengue are a cause for concern. To avoid this disease, people have to be very careful. The way people took many steps for rescue during Corona. Similarly, prevention of dengue is also necessary at the moment.
