The Union Health Ministry said that the Government of India has so far got 24,65,44,060 people got the corona vaccine.
So far, 24,65,44,060 doses have been given to the states through free category and direct state procurement category. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, out of this a total of 23,47,43,489 doses including wastage have been used till 8 am today.
33.64 lakh people got the vaccine in the last 24 hours
So far 23,61,98,726 doses of the vaccine have been administered in India. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, 33.64 lakh doses were administered across the country on Monday. So far 18,95,95,747 people have been given the first dose and more than 4.66 crore people have been given the second dose.
Corona situation in the country
The effect of the second wave of corona virus infection in the country has reduced significantly. The least number of new cases have come in the last 66 days. The weekly positivity rate in the country has come down to 5.94 percent. At the same time, the number of active cases has reached 13.03 lakh, which is 4.85 percent of the total infected cases.

At the same time, the infection rate of new cases that came today is 4.62 percent. For the last 15 days, the infection rate has been less than 10 percent continuously.
So far 3.51 lakh people have died in the country
After the arrival of new cases, the total number of infection cases in the country has increased to 2,89,96,473. In this, more than 2.73 crore people have been cured. At the same time, the number of active cases has come down to 13,03,702. According to the Union Health Ministry, so far 3,51,309 people have died due to COVID-19 in the country, which is 1.21 percent of the total cases.
