Cases increasing due to new sub variants
According to Professor Dr. Jugal Kishore, Department of Medicine, Safdarjung Hospital, cases of corona are increasing due to new sub-variants of Omicron and decreasing immunity. According to Dr., some cases of corona will keep on coming. Because the immunity of people in different areas is low. In such a situation, there is a risk of infection.
Cases of sub-variants of Omicron have been reported in both the states of Maharashtra and Kerala. In such a situation, it may be that cases are increasing due to these variants.
no need to worry
Dr. says that the cases of corona will continue to increase for a few days, people who have reduced immunity will be infected again. But there is no need to panic in this. At present, only all variants of Omicron are available in most of the cases in the country. So there is no chance of danger. There is no danger of any new dangerous wave of Corona at the moment.
According to Dr., the third wave was over in March. People started getting infected with Omicron in January. More than four months have passed since then. In such a situation, the immunity made by the virus in people is getting weaker. Since any variant can re-infect after 60 to 100 days. Due to this people are becoming corona positive again, due to which the cases are increasing. Although only mild symptoms are being found in the infected. So there is no need to panic.
