21-year-old Harnaaz was born in a Sikh family, she hails from Chandigarh. In 2017, she became ‘Miss Chandigarh’, after which she won the title of Miss Max Emerging Star India 2018.
Harnaaz Sandhu’s finale gown inspired by Phulkari
Indian models have proved their supremacy in the ‘Beauty Pageant’ with their beauty and talent. In an exclusive conversation with Tv9 Bharatvarsh, designer Saisha Shinde, who made the finale gown for Harnaaz, told some interesting things about her dress.
Sayesha says that the gown worn in the finale round is inspired by the special workmanship of Punjab ‘Phulkari’. Since Harnaaz is from Punjab, we have tried to take inspiration from this design but this gown will be completely modern and western style. Although we have completely modernized the traditional here. This gown is going to shine on the stage and Sayyeshaa also hopes that everyone will love this gown.
Gown made according to personality
Designer Sayesha says that this gown will definitely shine and sparkle on the Miss Universe stage as Harnaaz has a similar personality. While making this dress, she knew that she had to make a dress that would look different and beautiful. She also made sure that Harnaaz looked like a strong, powerful and confident person by wearing this gown she designed. Apart from this, another challenge was Harnaaz’s personality.
Many changes came in Harnaaz
Sayesha says that Harnaaz is a very delicate and cultured girl. She is a very sweet girl but at the same time she is also a strong willed girl. When Saisha met Harnaaz for the first time, she saw these qualities of her and Saisha decided to make a similar gown for Harnaaz. But according to the changes that Saisha has seen in Harnaaz in the first meeting and the last meeting, she has made a gown for her.
