Actor Sonu Sood is going to be seen in Akshay Kumar’s upcoming most awaited film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’. Sonu Sood will be seen in a very important role in this film. In the film, Sonu Sood will be seen as Akshay Kumar’s best friend. Sonu says that now he is getting more than one film in Bollywood. He has been a part of many great films till now. But there was a time when Sonu Sood felt that if he becomes a part of any film, then he would be able to appear in the frame at least. In such a situation, Sonu Sood says that thankfully he was not a part of such films. Sonu said that the reason behind this was that he was busy in South’s films. In such a situation, the films of South saved him from doing such films.

Sonu Sood told that he is very picky about the script of his films. Be it Tamil films or Telugu or Hindi films. He starts working in the script only after thinking. He says that South films had stopped him from doing bad Hindi films. He says that there was a time in his life when he used to think that today he should work in big films just for the name. According to him, South’s films prevented him from doing so.
Regarding the film, Sonu Sood said – there is a big responsibility on the shoulders
Regarding his role in the film Prithviraj, actor Sonu said that when this script came to him, he was very excited. In an interview given to PTI, the actor told- ‘When the film Prithviraj came to me, I was very excited. I had heard many stories of Chand Bhardai. My mother used to tell me stories of Prithviraj. Now I am all set to get into those stories. Yes, along with this, big responsibilities also come on my shoulders regarding this character that I have to do justice to this role. Let us tell you, apart from Akshay Kumar and Sonu Sood, Manushi Chillar and Sanjay Dutt are also in the film.
Let me tell you, the upcoming film Prithviraj was embroiled in controversies even before its release. Karni Sena stood as a hindrance to the film. Actually, Karni Sena had lodged an objection on the title of the film, after which the name of the film has now been changed from Prithviraj to ‘Emperor Prithviraj’.
