Shehzada Box Office: Karthik Aryan’s film Shehzada has failed to do wonders in the first weekend at the box office. The film has not even reached Rs 20 crore.

A lot of buzz was being seen about the film, but Shehzada failed to compete with Pathan and Hollywood film Ant-Man.
In the first two days, the film was able to do business of only Rs 12.65 crore. Now on the third day i.e. Sunday, there has been a slight increase in the film’s earnings. It has done a business of around Rs 7.30 crore on the third day. The film did a business of Rs 6 crore on the first day and Rs 6.65 crore on the second day. On the first weekend, the film has been able to do business of Rs 19.95 crore only.
According to the reports, the budget of this film of Karthik Aryan is around 65 crores. However, on the first weekend, people have given a very cold response to the film, due to which the makers have got a big shock. This is when the critics and the audience have praised the film fiercely. Despite this, this film could not earn even 20 crores on its weekend. Apart from Karthik and Kriti, Shehzada also stars Manisha Koirala and Paresh Rawal.
There was a lot of expectation after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Actually Karthik Aryan’s last theatrical release was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Directed by Anees Bazmee, this film proved to be a blockbuster. After this, the demand for Karthik Aryan also increased overnight. Shehzada is directed by Rohit Dhawan. The film may be garnering praises, but it has not been able to do anything special at the ticket window.
Pathan and Ant Man bit the dust
Pathan has done a business of about five crores on Sunday i.e. on the 26th day. Its total earning in India has gone up to 500 crores. Worldwide also it has reached very close to Rs 1000 crore. Ant Man and the Wasp Quantummania has done a business of around Rs 25.86 crore in India on the first weekend.
