Metro review these days

On July 4, Anurag Basu's new offering 'Metro… these days' is being released in the theater. If you are looking for something to see this week that tickle your heart and relaxes the soul, then 'Metro… these days' should probably be at the top of your list. Believe it, this is not just a musical film, but a colorful puzzle of relationships, which Anurag Basu has served by immersing it in the syrup of music.

Story

The beginning of the film takes you to a different world, where characters open the layers of your life through songs. Here the stories of love are seen which have faded with time, some relationships are losing glow, and some are just with mismatched riddles.

Kajol Ghosh (Konkona Senasharma) and her husband Monti (Pankaj Tripathi) live in Mumbai. In a Holi party, when Monty and his friends are seen discussing the extra marital affair, the cracks hidden in their wedding come out. At the same time, mother Shibani Ghosh (Nina Gupta), who lives in Kajol's Pune, has been struggling for years in her married life. A college reunion gives him a chance to live openly. Shibani's younger daughter Chumki (Sara Ali Khan), who lives in Delhi, is struggling with her boyfriend Anand (Kush Jotwani) with trust (trust) issues, when Parth (Aditya Roy Kapoor) enters her life. Amidst all these stories, there are also Akash (Ali Fazal) and Shruti (Fatima Sana Sheikh) living in Bangalore, who are trying to keep balance in marriage and career. How do all these stories move forward by joining each other? To know this, you have to go to the theater and see 'Metro these days'.

How is the film?

'Metro… these days' shows the complications of relationships very beautifully. This is a lovely love story that will go to you by laughing at some time by laughing and sometimes crying. Anurag Basu has once again touched the small things of human emotions and relationships and because of this we feel ourselves connected to these stories and we will have to give the credit to the film's director Anurag Basu.

Directing

Anurag Basu once again rotated his magical stick! Their best thing is that relationships are never perfect in their films, even small shortcomings and confusion between relationships are clearly visible to us. And the interesting thing is that these imparish stories of relationships also seem to be perfect due to the amazing direction of Anurag Da. This is only his amazing that he threaded so many stories in a thread so beautifully. Even every small moment he has shown so closely that he gets down directly into the heart.

Music

The story of the film has been given a new color by the music of Pritam, Papon and Raghav Chaitanya (called 'Metro Band'). 'Marriage does not teach anything, she definitely teaches acting, such as not only dialogues, but the songs in the background of the story also touch your heart directly. In the film, the pain from mother to daughters has been going on for generations, deception in relationships, without talking unnecessarily, has been told with great love. This story of Anurag Basu and the music of Pritam have got full support of all the actors.

Acting

All the actors in the film have done a great job. Pankaj Tripathi has put his life in the role of Monty. Their comic timing and innocence will make you laugh and force them to think. You will not be able to forget the fun dance scene of Pankaj's character who lives a second life on one dating app. Seeing them in this avatar is no less than a treat.

Konkona Sen Sharma Has played Kajol's strong character well. She is playing the role of a modern woman, who can raise her voice for herself, it is very fun to see Pankaj Tripathi and Konkona together on screen. Nina Gupta, Shashwat Chatterjee and Anupam Kher's Trio is also amazing. Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Sheikh have played the characters of Akash and Shruti with full honesty. At the same time, Aditya Roy Kapoor has once again dominated his charm. His romantic image is also intact in this film. However, their pair Sara Ali Khan (Kiss) a bit faded with. Sara could not fit perfectly in her character and she does not see the depth in her acting, which this character needed. The chemistry between the two does not come out as open as it should have been.

Good things

The music of the film is its biggest strength. Pankaj Tripathi's acting, a strong character of Konkona and the way of showing relationships with sensitivity (sensitivity) touch the heart. This is a feel-gud film and which remains with us even after finishing. You smile alone after remembering some scenes of the film, you feel like talking about these scenes. Anurag Basu has shown that not necessarily every film should be grand, a straightforward story can also be effective.

Deficiencies

The second half of the film seems a little pulled. However, the directors do not hurry to reach the end. The pair of Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapoor seems a bit faded, their chemistry does not come out as openly.

See or not see?

Nowadays, only bomb-firecrackers and bloodshed are going on at the box office, in such a situation, films like 'Stars Zameen Par' and 'Metro… these days' bring a sweet complaint. It reminds us that cinema is not just a business of selling tickets, but also the skill of touching the heart. Anurag Basu's 'Metro… In days' is one of those films which do not make noise, just get into the heart. If such films do not run at the box office, then we have no right to complain that good films are not made in Bollywood.
