Legendary singer of India Lata Mangeshkar (Lata Mangeshkar) passed away this morning at the age of 92. The whole country has drowned in mourning due to his departure. Everyone knows that Lata Mangeshkar was fond of watching movies, but very few people know that she has a crime base TV serial CID (CID) on the small screen.TV Serial CIDIt was fun to watch and over the years Lata Mangeshkar interacted a lot with the entire team of CID. Inspector Abhijeet in CID (Inspector AbhijeetActor Aditya Srivastava, who played the role of (Aditya Shrivastav) remembered Lata Mangeshkar during a conversation with ‘Times of India’.
Aditya is saddened to hear about the demise of his Lata didi. He said, “I am unable to express what I am feeling right now. The whole country has lost a priceless star but I am sure this Swar Nightingale of the country will be remembered forever.” Talking about his interaction with Lata Mangeshkar, Abhijeet said, “I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet her several times and also keep in touch with her. He showered a lot of love on our show CID and on all of us.”
Aditya used to meet Lata Mankeshkar before Corona
Aditya further said, “We used to meet often, but recently after Corona, we were in touch only on the phone. Whenever she liked an episode, she clicked pictures and sent it to us, and shared her thoughts on or about the episode. The last time I met him was on Ganesh Chaturthi in 2019. She used to invite us for Ganpati functions at her house. Lata ji used to talk not only about our show, but also about our family and our personal life.
Remembering Lata didi
Recalling some interesting conversations he had with Lata didi, Aditya said, “We used to talk about many things. She used to tell us about her song recordings and past experiences in her life. There were so many things that she used to share with us as if we were her family.”
