Shahid has started being a part of big film projects since Kabir Singh. Recently, he had signed director Ali Abbas Zafar’s action-thriller film and announced the start of its shooting. Now big news related to the release date of those films has come out.

This film to Shahid is an action-thriller film whose shooting is going on in Abu Dhabi. This film is a remake of a foreign film. Its background has been placed on the drugs mafia. Shahid is going to be seen playing the role of a cop in this. This film is being shot on a very high scale. This film will come in theaters next year i.e. in the middle of 2022. This is going to be Shahid’s next release after Jersey.
The source has told that it will be released in the middle of next year.
According to a report published in Pinkvilla, one of their sources has told that Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor are looking at this project as a large-scale action thriller for cinema halls. Everyone believes that such an action thriller has a huge audience and this combo of Ali with Shahid can pique the curiosity of the audience. The only and only circumstance under which it can premiere on OTT is if the country is again under a prolonged lockdown. However, everyone in the country is optimistic that those days will not come again. There is a confusion regarding its release as Ali was discussing any other projects with the OTT platform. However, this is not happening with this at the moment.
Shahid’s ‘Jersey’ ready for release
Shahid Kapoor is currently in the headlines for the film ‘Jersey’. Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur are in lead roles along with Shahid in this film. Shahid will be seen in the remake of the Telugu film ‘Jersey’ by the same name. Father Pankaj Kapoor is also going to be seen in this film with Shahid. The director of the original film, Gautam Tinnanuri is doing this film. This film will be released in cinemas on 31 December 2021.
