The name ‘Prem’ of Salman was coined by Sooraj Barjatya. Salman was seen as Prem in each of his films. When Salman attempted to bring out that innocence in Ravi Chopra’s 2003 film Baghban, Salim Khan said that instead of looking like a “good guy”, he looked like “a blind man”. In an old conversation with Sooraj Barjatya, Salman shared, I had a problem even in Baghban, where my father said, ‘Why are you looking blind?’ I asked ‘Blind?'”

Salman believed that the goodness and humanity that he is trying to show on the screen, in reality he is not looking like that. Even though people liked Salman’s character. But he knew that in reality he did not succeed in doing it. Salman recalled his father saying that according to his father, he “didn’t look like a nice guy” but instead, he looked fake.
