Aslam Merchant has broken his silence on the allegations of taking and selling drugs against his son. Aslam Merchant says that the allegations leveled against his son are baseless and he has told Arbaaz and Aryan innocent in the drugs case.
According to online media reports, in one of his interviews, Aslam Merchant said that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is behaving well with children. Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan and several others were detained by the NCB during a raid on a cruise to Goa. On Monday, the NCB took Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun Dhame from the court and sought their custody till October 11. However, the court has extended his custody only till October 7.

During a conversation with Times Now, Aslam Merchant said that these are all baseless allegations, but it is being investigated. It is too early to say anything at this point of time. NCB has been very cooperative and has been treating the kids very well. Being a lawyer, I believe in the judiciary. Truth will prevail and they are innocent.
At the same time, when Aslam was asked that there are allegations of getting drugs from Arbaaz. On this, he said that whatever he got, he got it from inside the ship, not from outside.
