Film actor Akshay Kumar has been in discussion about his citizenship for a long time. He has been trolled on social media by calling him ‘Canada Kumar’. Three years ago Akshay Kumar had said that he is going to apply for his Indian passport soon. In such a situation, now after three years, Khiladi Kumar has given information about the status of his passport.

Akshay Kumar had attended the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit recently. In this summit, Akshay had given a statement about his Indian passport three years back. This time again he was questioned about the passport. To this Akshay Kumar said, “Having a Canadian passport does not make me any less Indian than anyone else. I am Indian I am here for the last 9 years since I got my passport. I do not want to go into the reason behind this. My films weren’t working, etcetera etcetera, let it be okay.”
Akshay Kumar said, “Yes, I said in 2019. I had also applied for that (passport). Then after that the epidemic came. Everything stopped for two and a half years. My letter of rejection has also arrived. And very soon my full passport will come.
Akshay’s reply on doing many projects in a year
When asked about doing many films in a year, Akshay Kumar said, “I do four films in a year. Yes, I do. I advertise…I work, I don’t steal from anyone. I can’t understand. People ask me why do you wake up early in the morning? It’s only for getting up in the morning, isn’t it? Well. I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. I’ll work. If need be, I will give 50 days and if need be, I will give 90 days.”
Recently Akshay Kumar’s film Ram Setu has been released on the big screen. Although the film did not get the love of the audience as expected. This film, which was in controversies before its release, could not do anything special at the box office.
