On 14 February 2019, there was news of Pulwama terror attack, after which the demand for ban on Pakistani artists in India was raised. After which they stopped working in India.
Atif
Bollywood and globally famous Pakistani singer Atif Aslam (Atif Aslam) today does not need any recognition. Singer has performed best songs in India for the past several years with his best voice and has entertained everyone. Let me tell you, Atif made a lot of money for himself by doing a lot of stage shows in India, he got a lot of respect and fame in India. In the 2005 film ‘Zahra’, he sang his ensemble song in India. That song was ‘Woh Lamhe’ as soon as the song was released, Htarraf was his only discussion. The song became a super hit overnight.
After this song, Atif started working continuously in India, he was doing excellent work. The days of Atif’s fans in India continued to grow. He gave his songs in 60 to 65 films in India and had become a big name in India. The fame of the world was in his footsteps. But the relationship between India and Pakistan was no longer like a cricket match. At the same time, the news of the fight from the border of India and Pakistan had started coming. Meanwhile, the news of Pulwama terror attack came on the day of 14 February 2019. In this attack 40 CRPF jawans were killed and many others were seriously injured.
Demand for a ban on Pakistani artists working in India started to protest against this attack. Because of which Atif Aslam also had to leave his job in India. Not only Atif, many big artists were banned from working in India. While supporting this ban, Salman Khan first made Atif’s song out of his film Notebook. These songs were recorded by Atif. But Salman Khan did not want him to give rise to controversy in any way, so he immediately changed the singer of this song.
Even before the ban was imposed, many such incidents had happened with Atif in India, where his concert was canceled. Atif had a very big concert in Lucknow. Which was canceled 2 days before that. At the same time, there were many big singers in this list including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ghulam Ali Khan Sahab, whose work was stopped in India.
T-series was a mistake
After this ban, the uploading of Atif Aslam’s songs on the T-Series YouTube channel created a lot of ruckus on social media. People expressed their great displeasure by taking the help of social media. After which Bhushan Kumar also had to apologize. Atif still sings songs, but now his songs remain limited to Pakistan. Talking about the boycott of the Pakistani artist in India, Ghulam Ali Sahab said that “there is no scope or scope of art, it does not bind anyone”
Due to not being able to sing songs in films, Atif is suffering a lot. Where he used to earn crores of rupees by singing first shows and songs in India. At the same time, his shop in India is completely closed. But people still listen and like their songs.
