In Ranchi, senior journalist and video journalist Baijnath Mahato was attacked by unknown criminals late on Saturday night. Seeing the wound, it is being speculated that the attack was done with the intention of taking life. After the attack, Baijnath Mahto was lying unconscious on the same road. After this, the police PCR vehicle admitted Baijnath Mahato in a dying condition to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi around 3:00 am.

Journalist Baijnath Mahato is undergoing treatment in the ICU of Neuro Ward, where his condition is said to be critical. Baijnath Mahato has not regained consciousness even after more than 12 hours have passed. According to the police of Sadar police station, Baijnath Mahto has been hit dozens of times in the head and neck with a deadly weapon. At present, the doctors of RIMS Hospital are engaged in the medical facility.
CM Hemant Soren condemned the incident
Condemning the attack on Baijnath Mahato, the Chief Minister of the state Hemant Soren said that he wished for his speedy recovery. It has also been said that those guilty of attacking will not be spared under any circumstances. The Chief Minister has directed the officers to arrest the attackers at the earliest. Apart from the Chief Minister, Press Advisor to the Chief Minister Abhishek Prasad, Health Minister Banna Gupta and MP Sanjay Seth have also condemned the incident and wished for a speedy recovery.
Instructions for providing better medical facilities to Baijnath Mahato
State Health Minister Banna Gupta has also expressed grief over this incident and directed the management to provide better medical facilities immediately. After getting the information, journalists of Ranchi Press Club reached RIMS Hospital on Sunday and urged the doctors and nurses to provide better medical facilities to Baijnath Mahato.
