At least 10 PhD degree holders and 930 MTech degree holders candidates are among those who applied for recruitment to the post of police constable. There will be written exam on Sunday for recruitment to this post. According to an official statement from the State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB), the eligibility criteria for the post of constable is 12th pass. The list of candidates includes 5,284 MBA, 4,365 MSc and 94 LLB degree holders.

According to the official statement, 6,400 posts of constable will be recruited through Andhra Pradesh Constable Recruitment. For this, 5,03,486 candidates have applied. Out of this, 13,961 candidates are postgraduate, while 1,55,537 candidates are those who have obtained graduation degree. The thing to note here is that there are 3,95,415 men who applied for constable recruitment, while 1,08,071 are women.
Which posts are being recruited?
According to the notification released by APSLPRB, 3,580 (Male & Female) people will be recruited for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constable (Civil) through Constable Recruitment in Andhra Pradesh. There will be 2520 vacancies for the post of SCT Police Constable (AP Special Police). Candidates are told that only men will be recruited for this post.
Over 3.64 lakh applicants have opted for Telugu, while over 1.39 lakh have opted for English and 227 have opted for Urdu medium for the written exam. According to the official notification, the written exam for the recruitment of constable will be conducted on January 22. The exam will be conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. Admit cards have been issued for this.
