UPSC Combined Geo Scientist preliminary exam admit card released, download here

UPSC Geo Scientist Prelims Admit 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the admit card of Combined Geo Scientist Preliminary Examination 2023. Candidates can download the exam admit card through the official website upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in. The exam will be conducted on 19 February 2023. Through this recruitment exam, a total of 253 vacancies of Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and Scientist ‘B’ posts in Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines and 29 vacancies of Scientist B in Central Ground Water Board, Ministry will be filled. Applicants on these posts will be selected through preliminary examination, main examination and interview.

Candidates who are successful in the preliminary exam will be eligible for the main exam. The main examination will be conducted on 24 and 25 June 2023. And the successful candidates in the main examination will be called for the interview. Final selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in interview.

Please tell that UPSC had issued its notification on 21 September 2022. The process of application started from 21st September 2022 till 11th October 2022. An application fee of Rs 200 was fixed for the general and OBC categories, while the SC and ST candidates were exempted from the application fee.
