UP School Reopening: Government schools of Uttar Pradesh are being opened from today. However, students are not yet allowed to come to school. At present, schools have been opened for teachers and non-teaching staff only (UP School Reopening). Schools are being opened for admission and administrative work from class 6 to 11 in schools.
In the midst of the Corona epidemic, schools have opened in Uttar Pradesh from July 1, i.e. today. Teaching-learning activities for students will continue online. The Uttar Pradesh government has said that teachers and non-teaching staff of all schools, including Navodaya Vidyalayas and residential schools, have been allowed to attend schools for administrative work. Apart from this, the process of admission of new students can also be completed. In view of some relief in the infection of corona virus, this decision has been taken by the government.
Schools open for these works
According to the order issued by the state government, schools are being opened only for administrative work. In this, mid-day meal food grains will have to be distributed to the children. The conversion cost will have to be sent to the account of 100% of the beneficiaries. Also, the details of food grains distribution and conversion cost will have to be uploaded on the Prerna portal. In the school campus, especially the kitchen, inside the classrooms and terraces will have to be cleaned.
School registers will have to be arranged according to the mandate of Time and Motion Study. After contacting the parents of children in the age group of 6 to 11, their registration will be done. Enrollment of girls will have to be 100 percent and the programs that are being transmitted through radio, Doordarshan and WhatsApp will have to reach the children. Apart from this, 20-20 trees will be planted in all the schools on the orders of the state government.
Schools were closed on 10 May
In view of the outbreak of Corona virus, schools in Uttar Pradesh were closed till May 20 and online classes were also canceled. However, on May 18, the UP government said that online classes would resume from May 20 for class 9 to class 12.
