UP Board Exam: In Uttar Pradesh this year, during the UP Board Exam, only a few incidents of cheating came to the fore. For the first time in 30 years, no paper was cancelled.

UP Board: The first attempt to conduct cheating-free board examinations in Uttar Pradesh was made by former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh in the year 1992 by bringing the cheating ordinance. Since then till the last year, every chief minister who has been in power in the state has board exam Tried to get it done but did not succeed. The tainted record of UP has been destroyed by the resolve of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. And for the first time in the last thirty years, no examination had to be canceled in the UP Board examinations. Nor did any exam have to be repeated.
The question papers of any of the board examinations that ended on March 5 were not out. Nor did anyone dare to get mass copying done at any examination center. In some examination centers, some students were definitely caught cheating in the examination and in some centers the norms of conducting cheating-free examination were ignored, in such cases FIRs were also lodged against students, room invigilators, principals, managers and others.

More than 54 lakh students took the exam
Due to the concerted efforts made to conduct mock-free examinations in the state, no action has been taken against anyone under the National Security Act (Rasuka). Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has thanked the officials for the successful mission of conducting mock-free examinations Effort is appreciated.
Divyakant Shukla, secretary of the UP Secondary Education Council, says that the positive results of the arrangements made for conducting the examination without cheating in the state have come. According to Divyakant, this time a total of 58 lakh 85 thousand 745 students had registered for the board exams. Of these, there were 31,16,487 students of high school, while 27,69,258 students of intermediate were involved.

Altogether 54,54,174 students (29,07,533 students of high school and 25,46,640 students of intermediate) took the exam. While 4,31,571 students (2,08,953 high school and 2,22,618 intermediate students) remained absent in the examinations.
Strict arrangements made to prevent copying
Apart from making proper arrangements to ensure that such a large number of students appearing in the examination in UP do not face any problem in giving the examination, the government had also made proper arrangements to make the examinations cheating-free this time. Under which, for the maintenance of question papers, the strong room was kept in a secure room other than the Principal’s room. The responsibility of opening and closing it was given to the Static Magistrate appointed at the examination center designated by the District Magistrate for the first time.
Not only here, for the first time, the QR code and the logo of the Board of Secondary Education were put on the answer sheets. Along with this, for the first time stitched answer sheets were prepared in all the districts. For the first time, packaging of question papers was done in tempered proof envelopes in four layers keeping in mind all the safety standards so that no question paper could be out.
Apart from this, 1.43 lakh examination rooms of all examination centers and 3 lakh CCTV cameras with voice recorders, DVR router devices and high speed internet connection were arranged in the campus. Live monitoring was done through webcasting of all 8753 examination centers in every district of the state and through the control and monitoring center at the state level.
Officers were given to the District Magistrate to take action against the copycats under Rasuka. Due to IT-like arrangements, there was no incident of mass copying, wrong opening of question papers and making of question papers viral (out) in the board exams. This happened for the first time in the last thirty years.
FIR lodged against 85
Divyakant says that out of 54,54,174 students who appeared in the board examinations that ended on March 5, a total of 81 students were caught cheating. 51 (32 boys and 19 girls) were caught cheating in high school, while 30 (22 boys and 8 girls) were caught cheating in intermediate. 133 Duplicate students were found.
FIR was lodged against 3 room invigilators, 6 principals/centre administrators, 4 managers and 14 others for ignoring the arrangements made to prevent copying. Altogether, FIR action was taken against 85 people. Divyakant says, due to such arrangements, the mission of conducting cheating-free examinations in the state has been successful and now board examinations will be conducted next year also under this model of conducting cheating-free examinations.
