UGC RSFMS Fellowship 2023: A fellowship scheme has been started by the University Grants Commission. UGC it research fellowship These have been named Science F. This scheme is applicable only for meritorious students. The UGC Research Fellowship in Science has chosen universities that have research potential. RFSMS scheme is very useful for Ph.D.
UGC Research Fellowship in Science is always open. In this case, there is no time limit for applying. The main objective of the RFSMS scheme is to help the meritorious candidates to pursue advanced studies as well as to pursue PhD degree.

Who can apply
Only those students who have registered for Ph.D. can apply for this fellowship. Also, the Department of Special Assistance has the eligibility criteria recognized by the University Grants Commission which the applying student must have. The students who belong to the science, engineering science, agricultural science and biological science department from the university are also eligible to apply for this scheme.
Financial assistance of Rs 8000 per month is given to the students having the above qualifications. This fellowship is given for 2 years. Apart from this, a contingency fund of Rs 6000 is also given annually. However, this period can also be extended for an additional year after the recommendation of the Expert Committee of the Institute.
