NTA UGC NET Exam has been postponed.

UGC NET 2021 Exam: The dates for the UGC NET exam have been extended by the National Testing Agency. Candidates who have applied for the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) exam can visit the official website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in to see the complete details of the exam. According to the notification issued by NTA, this exam will be conducted from October 17 to 25.

The National Testing Agency has issued a notification on its official website saying that the examinations have been put after receiving several requests from the candidates. It has also been said that the date of UGC NET exam is in conflict with the dates of many other exams, due to which the decision has been taken to postpone the exam. According to the issued notice, the examinations of December 2020 session and June 2021 session have been postponed.

exam delayed due to corona

Earlier, the UGC NET exam of December 2020 session was scheduled to be held from May 2 to May 17, 2021. But it was postponed due to Corona. The application process for UGC NET December 2020 was held in February-March 2021. Due to Corona, there was a delay in the conduct of the examination of December 2020 session and the process of application for June 2021, hence the examination of both the sessions is being conducted simultaneously.

NTA gave information

In one of its notices, NTA said, “The agency has learned from the student community that the examination date of October 10 is clashing with some major examinations. In order to ensure participation and to remove the hardships faced by them, it has been decided to reschedule certain dates of the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles.”

Admit card will be issued soon

According to the information released by the NTA, the admit card will contain information about the exam centre, date, shift and time of the candidates. On the day of UGC NET examination, candidates will be required to carry their admit card along with the self-declaration form downloaded from the NTA website (completed), a simple ball point pen, additional photograph and photo ID for affixing on the attendance sheet.

Admit Card can be downloaded like this

  • For this, first of all go to the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
  • Then click on the admit card link given on the website.
  • Now login with the help of your application number and date of birth.
  • Your admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Download it now.
  • Take a print out of it to carry to the exam hall.
