Tiger can leave the campus in a day or two
Bhopal’s Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Alok Pathak said that our cameras have captured the pictures of tiger T-123-4, who was born from T-123 tigress on Saturday in MANIT campus. He said that 50 forest workers worked day and night for five days and the picture of the tiger was captured in the camera installed there.
Pathak told that according to the study of the behavior of tigers, the tiger goes out of a place in seven-eight days. Sunday was the sixth day in this campus, so he can get out of there in a day or two. He said that this tiger is now roaming in the low-lying area of the forest area spread over 300-400 acres associated with MANIT. Pathak said, we have also put cages there to catch him. In these cages, prey has been kept for him.
Everyone was asked to stay in their respective rooms
In fact, tigers come to the Kerwa region of the state capital from Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary spread in Raisen and Sehore districts near Bhopal. These tigers also enter the campus. It is worth noting here that there are about 1000 families of staff and teachers living in this campus. Apart from this, 5000 students are also staying in the hostels. In such a situation, all these people have been asked to stay in their respective rooms during morning and night.
