Devyani’s early education was from Chandigarh. After completion of 12th standard, Devyani took admission in the Goa campus of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in the year 2014 for higher studies. From here he completed his graduation in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering course.
After graduation, Devyani started preparing for UPSC. However, he had to face setbacks in the beginning. She could not even clear the prelims in the first two attempts. Despite this, she did not lose courage and kept trying.
In the third attempt in the year 2017, Devyani got success for the first time and reached the interview round. But the selection did not happen in the final list. In the year 2018, he took the exam again and got 222 rank. After this he got a job in the Central Audit Department.
Along with the job, Devyani started preparing for the exam. Used to study on weekends to prepare for the exam. Appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Examination of the year 2019. He got 11th rank in All Over India this year. After the final selection, he got the cadre of IRS officer.
