What is the qualification required to become a primary teacher?
If you are interested in teaching small children in primary school, then you must have passed graduation. Also, you should have good marks, if the marks are less then you cannot become a primary teacher. Also, you must have done BTC or B.Ed. After all this, you wait and as soon as the form of TET i.e. Teachers Eligibility Test comes out, immediately fill it and pass it with good numbers. Many states including Uttar Pradesh also consider CTET.
Means if CTET is passed and TET is not passed, still you are eligible to apply for primary teacher recruitment. You can fill the form for classes 1st to 5th in primary school whenever there is a vacancy. This exam is called Super TET in Uttar Pradesh. Keep in mind that if you have given Super TET then it is mandatory to score at least 97 marks. This paper is of 150 marks.
This is how the merit of primary teacher recruitment is prepared
After passing the Super TET, when the merit is prepared, then the numbers of High School, Inter, UG and B.Ed or BTC are also seen in it. At the same time, Super TET has not yet been implemented for teaching children from class 6 to 8. It is expected that the rules of class one to five will be implemented in this also. All other rules and regulations are the same, which are applicable for becoming a teacher in primary.
TGT for 10th and PGT for 12th has to pass
In Uttar Pradesh, if you want to teach the children of 9th and 10th, then you should have B.Ed with graduation pass and it is mandatory to pass TGT exam. And to become a teacher from 11th to 12th, PTG exam has to be given. TGT and PGT exams for Government Inter College are conducted by the commission.
Secondary Education Service Selection Board conducts recruitment exam for Aided Inter College. However, now the government is going to form a new body in its place. It is expected that in the next examination, the new body will now conduct these examinations. At the same time, some experts also say that if there is PGT in Inter, then B.Ed is not mandatory. Probably now the situation will become clear when the new body is formed.
What is the qualification required to become a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya?
More or less similar standards have been kept in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. But, the things which are different are that if there is Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed and CTET with good marks in class 1 to 5, then it will work. Means the youth have two options here. If there is interest in teaching from 6th to 10th then BEd and CTET is necessary along with UG.
Scores matter in all of these. Means having an empty pass is not going to work. For 11th-12th, BEd with PG is necessary here. On arrival of vacancy, one more exam will have to be given, then selection will be done through interview. If you want to become a teacher in degree college then NET or Phd is necessary with masters. NET exam is conducted twice a year.
