Only 2 days gap was given between the 3rd and 4th session of JEE Main 2021 exam. Lakhs of students were eagerly waiting for the exam date, but a large number of students are looking unhappy with the schedule.
There is a demand to postpone the JEE Main 2021 exam.
On Tuesday, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank (who was earlier the Union Education Minister) announced the JEE Main exam dates. JEE Main Phase III exam will be held in the month of July from 20th to 25th. At the same time, the fourth phase examination will be held from 27 July 2021 to 2 August 2021. Lakhs of students were eagerly waiting for the JEE Main exam date, but a large number of students are looking unhappy with the exam schedule. These students say that only a gap of 2 days has been given between the third and fourth session, which is not fair. Mostly it happens that at least 1 month is given between two sessions. Most of the students are also upset because they have not got the vaccine. There are also a large number of students who are below 18 years of age.
It is being claimed by the students that the JEE Main exam dates are clashing with various other exams of different levels. This will create unrest and confusion for the students and as a result, students may not be able to prepare and concentrate on the respective subjects. Demanding the postponement of the examinations, students have been tweeting on Twitter with the hashtags #POSTPONEJEEMains2021 and #Reshedulejeemains.
Harshit Meena, a student, told NewsNCR, “Due to Corona, if we have to go out even for the things we need, then we have to be very careful. Many students will take various exams from July 16 to August 6, which is going to take place between 1 to 2 days. Think how much the risk of infection can increase in such a situation, and if we got corona during any one examination, then if we had been treated for it, then all our exams would be over and 1 year would be wasted. Not only this, what will he do whose last year is? If this test goes ahead, then we will get time, as well as mentally we will be ready for it. If there is a paper in the interval of 2 days like this, then we have to skip some paper because many papers are on the same day and for this we have to move from one city to another.”
Arpit, a student, says, “A lot of injustice is being done to us students. The third session of JEE Main exam is being held from July 20 to 25 and the fourth session from July 27 to August 2, if a student is not able to participate in the third session after being infected with corona, then he will not be able to participate in the fourth session because two There is only a day’s gap between sessions.”
Priyanka, a student, says, “Many of us have lost our parents and relatives and till now many of us have not even received the first dose of the vaccine. Many students are under 18. In this environment, exams should not be held in such short intervals. We want the exam date to be extended a little further.”
