More than 1.15 lakh new corona infected patients have been found in the last 24 hours. In such a situation, students’ studies are the biggest sector affected by Corona. In view of the increasing cases of corona, in all the states and union territories including UP, Bihar, Delhi and Maharashtra, all educational institutions, including schools, colleges have been closed.
In order to protect from Corona, some states have issued an order to close the school-colleges indefinitely. Other states have closed classes for some time. Directives have been issued by different states regarding the school-college. The Uttar Pradesh government has extended the closure of schools for all students up to class 8 in the state till April 11. Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government had issued an order to close schools for students up to class 8 till 31 March.
The Delhi government announced last week itself that no student will be called to school for a new session until further orders. At the same time, the Delhi government has insisted on studying in digital mode. According to the order of the Delhi government, students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th can join the work related to class and project work only after the permission of their parents.
It has been decided to keep schools and colleges closed in Punjab till 10 April. Earlier, the Amarinder government had decided to close the schools and colleges till 31 March 2021, but now it has been extended by 10 days.
In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has instructed to keep all schools closed till April 15 for students up to class VIII. Apart from this, classes from class 9th to 12th have started from April 1. However, parents’ permission will be required for the offline class here.
The Rajasthan government has ordered the schools to be closed from April 5 to April 19 for students up to class IX, in view of the increasing cases of corona in the state.
In Bihar, all schools and universities have been refused to open from 5 April to 11 April. Along with this, all types of public events have also been banned by the government.
Closed till further orders in these states
There are many states where schools and colleges have been closed indefinitely. In this, schools in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh have been closed till further orders. At the same time, in Jammu and Kashmir, all schools will be closed from April 5 to class nine for two weeks from April 5. However, here the 10th and 12th board examinations will be held at the scheduled time.
