Sarkari Naukri 2021: A great opportunity has come up for the 8th pass candidates to get a government job. Food Corporation of India (FCI) has released bumper vacancy for the post of Watchman for its Depots and Offices in Punjab. 860 vacant posts will be filled through this vacancy. In this (FCI Recruitment 2021) the application process has been conducted in online mode.

Qualification & Age Limit

To be recruited for the post of watchman in Food Corporation of India, the candidate should have passed at least VIII. Also, his minimum age should not be more than 18 years and maximum age should not be more than 25 years. After the completion of the application process, the candidates will be called for the written test and then for the Physical Endurance Test i.e. PET. The physical test will be qualifying.

Vacancy Details

A total of 860 vacant posts will be recruited through this vacancy released by the Food Corporation of India. In this, there will be recruitment for 345 seats for unreserved category i.e. general category candidates, 180 seats for OBC candidates, 249 seats for SC category candidates and 86 seats for economically weaker ie EWS category candidates. Out of this, the left-handed candidates will be appointed to the post of watchman. The salary for this post will be Rs 23,000 to Rs 64,000 per month. Exam Pattern

The written test will be of 90 minutes.
There will be 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) asked.
Questions from General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning, English Language and Numerical Ability will be asked in the exam.
According to the released notification, 1 mark will be fixed for each question and there will be no negative marking in the exam.
The language of the question paper will be English, Hindi and Punjabi.
Successful candidates in the written examination will be called for PST and Medical examination. After this the final posting will be given.
