NEET PG 2023 Latest Updates in Hindi: NEET PG Exam .. A national level entrance exam which is taken for admission in post graduate courses of medical. This exam is conducted by the National Board of Examinations ie NBEMS under the supervision of the Union Ministry of Health. Every year 1.5 to 2 lakh candidates who complete MBBS apply for NEET PG exam. this year too NEET PG 2023 The event is scheduled to be held on March 5. But for the last few days there is a ruckus regarding NEET PG 2023. There is talk of changing the exam date.
The ruckus of NEET PG started from Twitter till Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.. and now it has reached the Ministry of Health. Here we are telling you in 10 points what has happened in this matter so far and what can happen next?
NEET PG 2023 Updates in 10 Points
- Firstly, NBE changed the eligibility criteria for NEET PG. Completion of MBBS internship has been made mandatory for appearing in this exam. That is, even if you have completed MBBS, but if MBBS internship is not completed, then you cannot give NEET PG exam.
- There is a cut-off date for completing NEET PG internship which is decided by the Ministry of Health. The last date for NEET PG internship for this year was earlier March 31, 2023. But a notice came on January 13 and it was extended to June 30, 2023.
- The protest started only when medical internship was made compulsory for PG NEET exam. Because thousands of candidates got out of the exam due to this rule.
- But when the MBBS Internship Completion Date was extended further, the ruckus became bigger. Doctors said that if the date of internship is extended, then the exam should also be postponed. So that the candidates can appear in the exam after completing their internship.
- Another reason given by the doctors for protesting is the difference in the timings of NEET PG Exam and counselling. According to the current schedule, NEET PG exam will be held on March 5 and counseling will be held in June. Examinees say that when there is so much difference, then what is the problem in extending the date of examination?
- First #PostponeNeetPG2023 campaign started on Twitter. When it did not seem to have any effect, the Doctors’ Association FAIMA staged a sit-in at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on 7 February.
- On the day of the dharna, a notice went viral on social media in which there was information about the postponement of the NEET PG exam date. But the Health Ministry immediately clarified that this notice is fake. However, on the same day the ministry NBE once again extended the last date of MBBS internship to 11th August.
- After increasing the internship last date, once again the NEET PG registration window has also been opened. MBBS Final Year students who are completing their internship between 1st July to 11th August 2023, there is still a chance to fill NEET PG exam form. The window will remain open for you till 11.55 pm on February 12.
- Now Federation of Resident Doctors Association i.e. FORDA has met Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in this regard. Doctors Association has submitted a letter to the Health Minister regarding the issue of NEET PG. He has been made aware of the problems of NEET PG aspirants and requested to take a decision in their favor.
- NEET PG candidates want the exam date to be extended to the third or fourth week of May. Right now their biggest question is whether NEET PG exam 2023 will be postponed? Answer- Looking at all that has happened on this issue so far and the matter has been directly brought to the notice of the Health Minister, there is every hope that the date of NEET PG exam 2023 will be extended further.
