Miss Universe: Everyone wants to get the title of Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss India. This is like a dream, which needs a lot of hard work to fulfill it. India has won this title thrice, in the recently held Miss Universe pageant, this title was won by Harnaaz Sandhu of Punjab. It is a matter of pride for India. India has got Miss Universe after 21 years. Miss Universe was trending on social media. Since then, everyone’s curiosity has increased to know how Miss Universe is made, what needs to be done to become Miss Universe, how much studies will have to be done etc.
Being Miss Universe is not easy at all. In this competition, there is a competition with the beauties of different countries around the world. Candidates have to go through 3 rounds for this competition. In this competition, along with beauty and confidence, the intelligence level of the contestants is also tested.
Qualification for Miss Universe
Miss Universe contestants must be between 18-27 years old.
The candidate should never be married, nor pregnant nor the mother of any child.
Candidates are judged in three stages- Evening Gown, Swimsuit and Personality Interview.
To participate in the Miss Universe pageant, candidates have to apply through the National Director in their respective countries.
The candidate should be the winner of the national competition.
First Round
The first round is a live show, it is called the primary round. In this, candidates are seen in swim suits or athletic suits. Then in the evening show, they have to wear evening gown. In the primary show, the features and physical look of the contestants are judged by this outfit. This is the first time the contestants present themselves in front of the jury.
Live Show
The semi-finalists are announced before the live show and final contest. In this, the contestants have to give their introduction in front of the jury and the public. Contestants go down from the stage in their swimsuit or athletic suit and walk on the runway in public.
Evening Gown Segment
The second round of the contestants starts through the evening gown segment. In this they have to wear evening gown. During this, the personality of the jury and the public candidate is tested. During this, numbers are given on the basis of the confidence of the contestants.

Interview Round
The top-6 contestants selected in the evening gown segment are called for the interview round (Miss Universe). This round is considered the most difficult. Because in this the winner is decided on the basis of one answer of the contestant. Before the interview round, each contestant can choose one of the judges from among the jury members, who will ask them questions.
