In this way, there will be a medical college in 33 districts of Rajasthan as well as the number of medical seats will also increase. CM Gehlot was addressing a meeting held with the principals of medical colleges at the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday. He interacted with the principals of all the medical colleges of the state and took feedback on various health schemes of the state government.

Medical colleges used to have 100-50 seats. Medical attention has been paid by the Government of India, the State Governments have also paid attention. However, he also said that now it is the responsibility of the principals to provide quality education to the students who become doctors.
Medical colleges in 30 out of 33 districts
The CM said that the plan to open new medical colleges was started in the country during the tenure of the UPA government. Gehlot said, this scheme was started during the tenure of the UPA government at the Centre, fortunately the NDA government did not stop it and carried it forward. Gehlot said that 30 out of 33 districts of Rajasthan have medical colleges and industrialist Gautam Adani had recently announced plans to set up medical colleges in two districts.
He has given instructions to implement code of conduct for effective management, cleanliness and maintenance of government hospitals in the state. With this, action will be taken by stopping those who spread dirt in the hospital premises and unnecessary movement in hospitals will also be stopped.
