The Cabinet decided that for recruitment to 75,000 posts of Class-B, Class-C and Class-D non-gazetted employees, Tatas will conduct examinations through Consultancy Services (TCS) and IBPS.
MITRA will be formed on the lines of NITI Aayog, will plan for various works
In another decision, the Cabinet approved a proposal to set up Maharashtra Institute of Transformation (MITRA) on the lines of NITI Aayog to provide guidance to the state government. The government also approved the formation of 2800 self-help groups of minority women in Marathwada, Vidarbha and North Maharashtra.
Loan waived from Land Development Bank, a matter of great relief for farmers
The Cabinet has approved the proposal to waive the total crop loan of Rs 964.15 crore taken by the farmers from the Land Development Bank. A statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office said that the government will fund the Maharashtra Agribusiness Network (Magnet) for the fund to increase the income of the farmers.
