Notification for JEE Mains 2022 February exam should have been released by the second week of January. By now JEE Mains February 2022 registration should have also started. But till now NTA has not given any information regarding this exam. According to the reports, the reason for the delay in this examination is the Assembly Elections 2022.
Elections are to be held in 5 states of the country in February-March 2022. These states are – Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur. Except Uttar Pradesh, voting in all other states will be completed in February 2022. Whereas in Uttar Pradesh, polling will be held till the first week of March. The results of these assembly elections will be declared simultaneously on 10 March 2022. During this time it is not possible to organize a big and national level exam like JEE Main.
Considering the current circumstances, the JEE Main 2022 First Phase exam cannot be conducted before the second-3rd week of March 2022. However, NTA has not given any official information in this regard.

Assembly Elections 2022: In which state when to vote
Uttar Pradesh (UP election 2022 voting dates) – Polling is to be held here in total 7 phases. Voting will be held on 10 February, 14 February, 20 February, 23 February, 27 February, 03 March and 07 March. The results will be released on March 10.
पंजाब (Punjab election 2022 voting dates) – Here voting will be held in only one phase. Voting will be done in the entire state only on 14 February 2022. The result will come on March 10.
Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand election 2022 voting dates) – Voting will take place in only one phase. Polling will be held in entire Uttarakhand on 14 February 2022. The result will be announced on 10 March 2022.
मणिपुर (Manipur election 2022 voting dates) – Polling will be held here in two phases. Voting for the first phase will be held on 27 February and the second phase on 03 March. The result will come on March 10.
गोवा (Goa election 2022 voting dates) – Voting will be done here in just one phase on February 14. The result will be released along with all the states on March 10 itself.
