According to reports, the NTA and the Education Ministry said that the delay in the declaration of JEE Main 2021 result is not linked to the CBI probe into the alleged cheating scam at one of the JEE Main exam centres. In response to the delay in the release of JEE Main 2021 result, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has once again postponed the registration for JEE Advanced. Initially, the process of registration was to start from September 11, after which it was postponed till September 13. Now it has been postponed again.
